Your Complete Indian Rocks Beach Events Calendar: Fall & Holiday Season 2026
One of the things that makes Indian Rocks Beach different from a resort town is that it has a genuine community calendar — events organized by and for the people who actually live here, not just the visitors passing through.
This post compiles every confirmed community event in Indian Rocks Beach for the remainder of 2026, sourced directly from the City of Indian Rocks Beach's official calendar. All dates, times, and locations are as published by the City as of July 20, 2026. I'll update this post as new events are added.
If you're a visitor planning a trip, a seasonal resident deciding when to come down, or a prospective buyer trying to understand what life here actually looks like — this is the real picture.

Coffee With Neighbors
Friday, July 25, 2026 | 8:30 AM Civic Auditorium, 1507 Bay Palm Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785
Coffee With Neighbors is a recurring City-hosted gathering at the Civic Auditorium — an informal morning event where residents connect with neighbors and city staff. It's exactly what it sounds like: coffee, conversation, and community. No agenda, no formality. Just neighbors.
This is one of those events that tells you something real about a town. The fact that it keeps happening, and that people keep showing up, says something about the character of Indian Rocks Beach.

October 2026
Oktoberfest at Kolb Park
Saturday, October 10, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Kolb Park, 1508 Bay Palm Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785
Oktoberfest at Kolb Park is one of the most popular community events of the fall season. The park setting, the Gulf Coast weather in October (genuinely one of the best months to be in IRB), and the festive atmosphere make this a highlight of the community calendar. Expect food, drinks, music, and a crowd of familiar faces.
October is also when the Pinellas coast transitions from summer to its most beautiful season — lower humidity, warm Gulf water, and the kind of weather that makes people start seriously thinking about buying a place here.

IRB Hallowfest
Saturday, October 31, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Kolb Park, 1508 Bay Palm Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785
Halloween in Indian Rocks Beach means Hallowfest at Kolb Park — a family-friendly morning event with costumes, activities, and the kind of small-town Halloween energy that's increasingly rare. If you have kids, or if you just appreciate a community that still does Halloween right, this is worth your morning.

Community-Wide Garage Sale
Saturday & Sunday, November 14–15, 2026 | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM City-Wide, Indian Rocks Beach
The IRB Community-Wide Garage Sale is a two-day city-wide event where residents open their driveways and front yards to buyers from across the region. It's a genuine community tradition — the kind of event where you can find anything from vintage beach furniture to boat equipment to mid-century Florida kitchenware.
For anyone curious about the neighborhoods of Indian Rocks Beach, this is also a great excuse to walk or drive the streets, see the different parts of town, and get a feel for the community from the inside.

December 2026
Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, December 4, 2026 12th Ave Park, 47 12th Ave N, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785
The Christmas Tree Lighting at 12th Ave Park is one of the most beloved traditions in Indian Rocks Beach. It's a small-town moment — neighbors gathering at the park as the tree lights up for the first time, with the Gulf just a few blocks away. The City has not yet published a specific time for this event; check the official city calendar closer to the date.
Christmas Street Parade
Sunday, December 6, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach (parade lineup begins ~12:00 PM on East Gulf Blvd)
The IRB Christmas Street Parade runs along Gulf Blvd and is open to community participation — no registration required. If you want to march, show up at the East Gulf Blvd lineup around noon. If you want to watch, find a spot along Gulf Blvd before 1:00 PM.
This is one of those events that makes Indian Rocks Beach feel like a real town rather than a tourist destination. The parade is organized by the City, led by community members, and attended by the people who live here.

Christmas Boat Parade
Saturday, December 19, 2026 | 7:00 PM City-Wide Intracoastal, Indian Rocks Beach
The Christmas Boat Parade is the signature holiday event of Indian Rocks Beach. Decorated boats gather on the Intracoastal at the southern end of the Holiday Inn around 6:30 PM, then parade through the waterway at 7:00 PM, led by Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District.
No registration is required to participate — decorate your boat and show up. To watch, find a spot along the Intracoastal waterway. The parade is visible from docks, waterfront restaurants, and the bridges connecting the island to the mainland.
If you've never seen a Florida Christmas Boat Parade, it's worth going out of your way for. Boats decorated with thousands of lights, moving slowly through the dark Intracoastal water, with the Gulf Coast sky overhead — it's one of those experiences that makes people fall in love with this place.

A Note on This Calendar
All event information in this post was sourced directly from the City of Indian Rocks Beach's official community calendar at indian-rocks-beach.com/our-community/city-calendar as of July 20, 2026.
Event details — particularly times for events like the Christmas Tree Lighting — may be updated by the City as dates approach. I recommend checking the official city calendar for the most current information before attending any event.
This calendar covers City-organized and community-organization events listed on the official city calendar. It does not include private events, restaurant events, or events organized outside the city calendar system. The Pinellas County area also hosts a wide range of arts, cultural, and seasonal events throughout the year — for a broader regional calendar, visit visitstpeteclearwater.com.
Why This Calendar Matters
I share this calendar every quarter because I think it's one of the most honest representations of what Indian Rocks Beach actually is.
The events here are not manufactured for tourists. They're organized by the City, by the library, by the church down the street, by the kids' environmental group that cleans the beach on Sunday evenings. They reflect a community that has been here for generations and intends to stay.
For anyone considering a move to Indian Rocks Beach — or an investment in a property here — this calendar is part of the answer to the question: What is it actually like to live here?
The answer is: it's a town where the neighbors know each other, where the City hosts coffee every month, where kids learn about sea stars at the library, and where the whole community decorates boats and floats them down the Intracoastal on a December night.
That's Indian Rocks Beach.
